OK. Let me try one more time to explain my thought process on how this should be handled. This game needs a redefinition. I don't really see a way around this. We want to create a ruleset in which we can agree upon Event Storage Warp(ESW) but disallow Reverse Event Storage Warp(RESW) as a part of a "real" run. Any ruleset in which we can coherently allow ESW, and Not RESW, would lead to the run with ESW as Any%. To observe the fact that we want to keep the current run as it's own unique category, it would make the most sense, to me at least, to rename the current route to Any% no ESW. Now to bring this full circle, since RESW would be banned under the new ruleset, I feel we have mostly agreed on Krystal Corruption as a misc category/meme run.

As far as I understand, this isn't really a legit way to beat the game. All it does is copy information from an existing file to a new one, but without counting the setup time for the second file. At best, this can be considered a glitched NG+.

For comparison, in Diddy Kong Racing, there is a very similar glitch that allows you to beat the game in 5 minutes, but it isn't even on the leaderboard. No one in our community considers copying information from an existing file to be a legit way to beat the game.

I've seen more people describe the category as a meme/joke/pointless/not fun than I've seen people say they like it.

Oh, I see. Well well this new glitch reminds me in Zelda Skyward Sword, where you can use a corrupted file to beat the game from the beginning. In my opinion, a category using this glitch deserves an other name than "any%". I read more above something about the any% in OoT, but in this case, the WW in OoT you use, is a glitch that uses a scene from the game, and not from another file. I don't know, I think an any% category is done always frome the same file and not moving a file to another. Argh this is a mess, but meh, this is my opinion, I'm just an inactive pirate... lost in my desert. In conclusion, I don't care what changes you are gonna do to this new any% so do whatever you want :D.
