I just discovered while go through the arctic cruise casually that if you dive into the slanted walls of the tipped cruise ship you will be able to sort of glide on them and control you in any form except horizontal direction. The only parts I found it didn't work on is walls that are to steep to dive into. If you can find use of this in any way in DLC speedruns that would be pretty nice.

You most likely had the no bonk badge equipped. This has been known about for some time, and can also be used in Subcon Forest. This is unfortunately not useful, since in runs we never get the badge since it would require a major pon reroute and most likely be slower, and we would also have to deal with badge seller RNG.
