Having a run verified

So I am just worried, because for the day I may PB, and get a time like 4:57 or lower, would it not be accepted? I do stream and my attempts of SMB are in Past Broadcasts of my channel for the last 15 days are there. I haven't submitted a run yet and I was wondering if this would be a problem

United States

As long as the reset/poweron is recorded along with the entirety of the run it should be verified. Keep in mind if you get 4:57 or lower it might take a lot of time to get verified because they might think it's illegitimate. Hope this helps!

I would suggest submitting one of your runs now. It looks like you already have a 4:59, I'd honestly submit that. The more data we have available, the better your chances are with getting a really good run accepted. We like to have a reasonable level of confidence that someone's run is legitimate when you start getting in the lower times. If you're running on emulator and you can, save your input files with your PBs. It's possible we may ask for those.

Also, make sure you read the rules and understand them so that a good time doesn't get rejected for something avoidable.

Yeah, submit your 459.

How do you all know I got a 4:59? I thought maybe one person would know and that's it. I'll submit it

Yeah, I found it on your Twitch page.

What exactly are input files? Or do you mean my attempts? I don't think I've seen those before.

Input files are not necessary.

Yes, but they increase your chances of getting verified. Your youtube channel link does not work also
