Starting From Restart
The rules say to start timing from pressing start, would starting from pressing reset be acceptable?
No it's not not. One of my runs already had been declined because I started form restart. But it would be a good idea.
It's not because it gives an unfair advantage, as it would be cutting out the time taken to transition from the main menu. Otherwise you'd get people who did have transitions on complaining that their time should be reduced.
