You could do what the NES Tetris mods just recently did and have filters for level/height.
Also I'm 105% on board with 100 lines.
That's so dumb. If you want to compete with the people playing on level 9 height 5, then play level 9 height 5. It's there to raise the skill barrier once you can complete a 40l run on the other difficulties. There's literally no reason to split them up.
the output and strategies change completely between level 9 height 5 and level 0 height 0. also consider the fact that there are runs using level 0 height 0 in the same category, you really can't compete when there is 2 different ways to complete 4 line. it would be like mixing warpless and any% in any SMB game.
Why doesn't it just categorize based on height (that way there is a manageable 5 categories, and then the level can be what people use in comparison to "faster routes" if we are looking to compare running this to "traditional" speed games? Also on board for having a 100 lines category. I think for the amount of runners with submitted times (me being someone who is currently at a 2:21 on 3lvl 4 height and looking to improve a bit more before submitting), having 6 categories would be a solid amount for people to play between. Thoughts?
