I know this is a meme game and all but why accept all meme runs? I really feel the board should be cleaned up with only real runs and only with runs with splits. although idk why the rules don't state you need videos but that's just me
I was wondering why Kryssstal's 1:24:31 run, which is highly suspected to be cheated, is still on this board. Maybe there's discussion about it behind closed doors, but it has been a few months.
With the recent removals of Exo's spliced Meat Boy run, Lee's prerecorded Yoshi's Island run, and Todd Rogers' everything, now seems like it'd be an opportune time to finally take action.
I recognize there is unfortunately no way to prove conclusively if Kryssstal's emulator run is cheated, but considering the evidence of superhuman play garnered from watching/analyzing it, and it being the only emulator time within the top 18, it's really better safe than sorry.
You guys are right, I got caught up in the attention for this game but I realize that I need to take it more seriously. I've deleted all meme runs from the leaderboard. The only reason there is a rule that allows for no video evidence is that I myself cannot provide video evidence. Until I can all runs will have to be photo and split proof
thank you for listening I never knew I would get a response but the board looks a lot better now ^^ appreciated nothing wrong with having fun but it went a little to far I feel hope you have a good day or night ^^
Why not just submit a legit run you can get the game for £1 and it aint hard to find at all :)
There are more than enough meme sites out there where you can post memes and everything (like Reddit or something, works even better imo) SRC is a site where people can compare times and compete, if the leaderboards are full with meme/fake runs the site gets basically useless because you can't compare times etc anymore
"blueYOSHI" I may not see eye to eye with you but I respect your hustle. peace.
Yo, so uh, if you're removing meme runs I'm removing mine as well, I had planned to do this at the end of the month anyways, but this seems like a damn good reason to expedite that process. Though I do have the game ordered and actually plan to beat my meme time. I apologize if I lead you to believe my run was real, I had assumed that with the video that I submitted it would have been obvious.
Nice doing, Piner. I too bought the game and intend to ACTUALLY play the game an have actual times. lets turn this meme game into an actual speedgame
This has always been a dream of mine to have competition in this meme game. I’ve been playing this game for years as a meme and I’m happy to finally see it grow. I say we turn this into a real speed game, despite its meme status
Yeah, sorry for being misleading about it. Glad to see that the game will actually have a few runners, definitely will make it a bit more fun.
