I have been getting consistent 10:05 on leaf cup and I'm pretty good at the game so how in the world is branio beating everyone by 30 seconds?! Seems a little suspicious. Plus he has no video proof and to top it of, no glitch. Seems very suspicious and impossible. Does anyone have a time near that that has a video to show me because I wanna see that!

So, first, the player who has the wr for leaf cup had the wr for DS Airship Fortress around 2013-2015. Excluding the fact of who it is, his time is about 30 seconds away from the theoretical best time that has been calculated. As for a video, I could probably get one if I wanted, as my 10:19 loses up to 30 seconds from RNG, and was also part of an all cups run, so nervers were a factor. But the time has already been looked at and hasn't been seen as suspicious. I might do some runs since I'm sick of my riw failing

It makes it really suspicious to me because there isn't a linked video.

Forgot to mention this before, but the run was set a long time before video proof was required. So the fact that there isn't a video should not be considered as making it really suspicious, as very few runs at that time did have video proof.

Even if that's true the fact that he beat me by 30 seconds AND no glitch, there's no frickin way. I admit there are people better than me but if I grind one of these cups really hard, I'll be 15 seconds within wr especially since I'm one of the best people in the group. I just can't believe it until someone gives proof that it's possible. Also just because no video proof was required doesn't mean they could still cheat.

Edit: I think you should contact branio and ask him/her some questions and if no response in 30 days, remove the run.

Maybe it's possible his 2:03 split on rKD ive been able to get a 2:02 on.What does "the result of 30 runs" mean? I think it means he did it 30 times but someone clarify that for me. His rDKP is ridiculous though. Say 25 second loading time. That means he would have to get a 2:02 which is my record on time trials. I'm a little suspicious there even with the item box that only gives stars and shrooms.

Edit: ive tried a few times now and the best I can get finishing rDKP Is 4:55. I welcome y'all to try and get close to 4:30. And I got 4:55 when I got 2:03 on kalimari desert.

It's possible to split wrong, a lot of people do. I also believe that with perfect RNG rDKP is faster in GP mode? Since you can get 9 mushrooms? Other than that, the result of 30 runs means to me that it took him 30 attempts. I could try if you want me to, but I'd probably be a bit rusty, as I've been trying to learn some new games to speedrun.

Please! Let's have a deal, after trying for a while, and everyone who wants to participate, if no one can get 9:40 or lower and have video proof (cuz I wanna see) then the run is taken down. What do you think of that?

Oh well, here we are again. Only 2 things to say before I lock this :

• if someone has a time that's way better than yours, maybe it's because, idk, they're way better than you at the game, or at least at that part of the game ? As MKWilliam said (and after due verification), Branlo held the record for rAF for 7 months total between 2012 and 2014 (and, according to Players' page, is currently still in 4th place), so saying he's good at MK7 is an understatement. And, as he said in the description of his run, he got this time after 30 attempts, so it's pretty safe to assume this one had great RNG, too.
• That 9:30 is far from the theoretical best possible time (8:59.3), and even from the sum of his PBs (again, according to Players' page) + load times (9:05.0). So that's not even close to the past cases of suspicious runs we ended up taking down.

tl;dr This run was completed by an established top-level TT player, after 30 attempts, and still loses 25 seconds to his TT PBs. This is legit with a 99,99% probability, the 0,01% only coming from the lack of video proof (not required at the time). Nothing to see here. Locked.
