Hello. So a long time ago I got the WR on https://www.speedrun.com/depict1 Recently I tried to beat my PB and got a new WR, but I noticed that the mod has been inactive for 6 months now and it has been almost a month since I submitted the run. I also sent him a message on youtube but got no reply. Can I be a mod for this game? So that I can verify my run and any other ones that get submitted later on? Thanks!

@PullMatrox - User grossly inactive, adjusted moderation. Left them on as a regular mod, but I leave the decision to you if you wish to keep that or not.

Hi I recently got a wr in https://www.speedrun.com/farnham_fables and have submited my run. however all the mods have been inactive for years and have no social to contact. Could I become a moderator for this game since even if its a small game approval of runs would be quicker? Thank you.

I'm requesting moderation powers for Backyard Baseball 2003 (https://www.speedrun.com/backyard_baseball_2003).
As the main mod for the original Backyard Baseball leaderboards and an overarching mod for Backyard Sports, I've been getting a few complaints regarding unverified runs for BB03. The only mod for the game, Yoda1127, has been inactive on SRcom for a few weeks and hasn't answered Discord messages in a very long time - I pinged him back in August regarding an unverified run and he has failed to respond, and he hasn't responded in the past week with pings as well.

Is it required / advised to wait the 21 days before contacting inactive mods via off-site contact?
@emagen303 - How long ago did you try contacting them? They're still active on the site (online 10 hours ago) and we generally give moderators 21 days to handle run submissions. If you've been waiting quite a while for a response I can try to poke them, but otherwise we'll hold off on any action here until your run is overdue. Also, I'd recommend making a forum post in the game's forum regarding the changes you want to be made to the leaderboard.
@Meerkat - You don't appear to have run this game, so we won't be adding you as a moderator. If one of the runners with a pending run would like to take over, direct them to this thread.

@kennethcly - Looks like the moderator's been offline for over a year. We can look at adding you due to the long-term inactivity, but you'll need to enable Email Authentication in your account settings before we can do that.

So, I’ve been running mighty morphing power rangers (found here https://www.speedrun.com/mighty_morphin_power_rangers_genesis) for about a month and a half to two months now. My most recent run, however, had sat in my pending runs for three weeks now. I’ve reached out to the moderator and while he is active on this site and his social media, he’s explained to me that he doesn’t have any interest in verifying my run anytime within the next few months and also doesn’t wasn’t to give me modship. I feel this is unfair, but I’ll leave that up to your judgement. Thanks (:

I've been directed here through Meerkat's post on needing a new moderator for Backyard Baseball 2003. I've been a part of running that game for quite some time and have multiple pending runs and runs that are already on the leaderboards before the current mod went dark. Meerkat and other members of the community for the Backyard Series believe that I would be a good mod for it because of my understanding of the rules and my knowledge of the game.

Hey, I submitted a run for Dr. Langeskov a couple of weeks ago (https://www.speedrun.com/dr_langeskov_the_tiger_and_the_terribly_cursed_emerald_a_whirlwind_heist), but there's only one moderator, and they haven't been online for about 2 months, so my request will probably remain pending.
I'm not sure if I want to be a moderator, even if it's for a small/infrequently speedrunned game, I just want my request to go through in the meantime. Any chance that can happen?
