This thread serves for everyone to offer up their opinions on who should be added as moderator to the board.

I will just say that, I am capable of moderating it on my own if that is what is decided. It's probably best to have at least 2 though, just for the sake of checks and balances.

If there is someone who there seems to be a general consensus on, I will add them. Provided, that person is willing to be a moderator, of course.

I would like to nominate myself for the mod role. I've been around in the community for a fairly long time and have a great knowledge of fm, also im pretty much always on srcom. I also consider myself to at least know of all of the community and am acquainted with the majority.

I used to moderate the original google document back in early 2013 with no drama and no issues whatsoever. All I did was add runs and do things that people wanted me to do. Nowadays people only care about "status" when it comes to being a moderator and the original purpose of the job has been diluted in fields of drama and arguments. I log on to speedrun.com every day, and usually check it every 10 minutes or so when on the computer, so I'm nothing but very active in the community, and I have a lot of time available to check and verify runs. If anyone is "qualified" for the job of moderator, I'm sure I would fit the bill. :)

I nominate A3r1us. He has been in the community for a sufficient amount of time, and is extremely active within the community (as in, his total playtime on his splits had FAR eclipsed my own. That doesn't necessarily matter when it comes to a moderator position, but to me it shows his activity is basically unmatched when it comes to the community), even when the community is in a "disinterested" state for a period of time. I trust his judgement in making decisions to accept and reject runs.

I collect moderator statuses on speedrun.com so I'm sure I'd do well.

Even though people better suited to the job have already been nominated, I'll nominate myself as well. I've been around for quite a long time and I know a decent bit about the run (or at least I think I do). I'm not an active runner, but I do check srcom often and think I'd do a pretty good job of being a mod.

13 has been a strong role model in the fm community, and has always been willing and able to assist others with problems and questions that they have as to the mechanics of the game. Support for Mazza as an fm mod.

I do nominate myself as a mod. I m a runner of this game since the yugioh speedrun became a thing, right now I m not speedrunning but I always come back. I do think I can judge very well to accept or reject a run. If I dont get enough votes for being a Mod, I do nominate m13 aswell.

I also nominate A3r1us, he's a great guy and very actively doing runs.

I nominate A3r1us. He's around all the time, runs all the time, knows how to make the correct decisions for the community, and is unbiased.

Right now I'd say M13 and A3r1uS look like the guys to join. Anyone have any objections?

I also nominate A3r1us. Same reasons as already mentioned, with him being extremely active at races but also attempts on his own.

First of all, thanks to all of you for putting my name for being a mod.

I'm ok with being a mod, even though I've started FM since July 2015 during the 1st 12 hours challenge.

Like you guys said, I've been active and grinding this game almost everyday trying to sub 3 (Sub 4 has to be first, Hardest has to be nicer though).

He has a lot of experience and play time, he also can have a different view than other people in situations that may occur and holds his opinion very firmly. I think he can add a lot to the moderation team.
