Is using a custom color palette in emulators allowed????

Hey Guys,I recently got back into speedrunning and idk why, but FCEUX lags a lot. So I decided to use Nestopia and it works fine. But the colors on FCEUX were a lot better so I tried using the FCEUX palette on Nestopia and it works fine. So the question is, is it fine to use a custom color palette????

Toronto, ON, Canada

I'm pretty sure it's fine since it doesn't affect the gameplay itself.

If it's typical color palettes you see on emulators, we likely wouldn't have a problem with it. If it's some wild and crazy stuff like a green sky, then we'd rather you not do that.

Thanks for the replies.... The color palette will make Nestopia feel like FCEUX...

That should be fine

FCEUX lagged a ton for me. I would recommend Nestopia. Hasn't lagged for me ever.
