Platform Separation

This is something that I’ve always wondered about and thought it should be addressed, and maybe changed, but why is there separation between PS, PS2, and PSP? The game was only released on the PSX in 1999 with no ports or re-releases so I assume it would be one leaderboard regardless of what platform is being used. I ask as someone who is, at this time, the only PS2 runner and doesn’t see why PS2 and PSP runs would be put in their own sections, considering that PS3 and PS EMU runs are both in the playstation section already.

PS emu emulates load times on playstation 1, so it's valid to be on the same board as the ps1 runs. Load times are significantly longer on the ps1 compared to the ps2. The ps2 loads the game much faster. If we could get a loadless timer made for this game, then it would no longer matter which console you play on but as it still is a factor now, it does matter.

Has anyone done a comparison on the PS3 load times compared to the other consoles?

The PS2 has a faster disk read system called Fast Disk Speed (it reads games natively with disk) with ps1 games, PS3 is an emulation almost similar to ps emu

PSP is separated because is one of the worst and almost runs these games natively
