I'm just curious of a few things about how this game is set up here (since I do intend to submit runs at some point), so I figure I'd ask.

1. Is it necessary to put Sonic Robo Blast 2 in each category name? Seems kinda redundant imo.

2. Does v2.1.x imply that any 2.1 version can be used? It can at least be interpreted that way, and considering how categories for older versions are set up, it gives off an inconsistent message.

3. I'm assuming from how the only run that currently exists was submitted that a) You don't intend to have Ultimate Mode categories for other characters (not that I'm asking for them, just curious) and b) You don't consider any% and Ultimate Mode to be the same thing, even though they kinda are.

4. Do you actually think anyone will do 160 emblems? :P

Hard to mod a whole game yourself. Right, here we go.

1. it's not, however, the categories just looked nicer when I initially added them in with Sonic Robo Blast 2 in the title instead of just vX.

2. That is exactly what it implies, the ONLY change in any 2.1 version so far has been what looks like gameplay things but nothing to do with breaks as far as I'm aware (all under the hood updates from what I last checked). There was a glitch I found recently and, IF that gets patched then the game rules will be changed for the 2.1.x category to exclude prior versions to the fixed version. The reason it's "2.1.x" and not like the other versions is because the other game versions have ended at 1.09.4 and 2.0.7.

3. The Ultimate Sonic category was added simply because there is a run of Ultimate mode for Sonic. Didn't really wanna go around making other categories at the time because I was unsure who'd run those categories as Tails as Knuckles. Nonetheless, if someone did a run of Tails or Knuckles Ultimate mode then yeah, I'd add them in. It's more what you guys submitting want on here.

4. I was planning on running it but in my eyes you need to look at it like "we need to cover some interesting things as well as the main game" that was just my look at it. It was a silly idea and tbh, will probably be removed.

5. Thank you for the spot. I was never too sure and at the time of making the list I didn't have the site to compare against as it was conveniently down at that moment in time. That'll be fixed after I finish this message.

Sorry for not getting back to this straight away, shambles really. I do hope it answers your questions anyways! I've tried to make this as user friendly for anyone who does want to run it. 2. Alright, this response was about what I figured. Kinda doubting there will be another 2.1 update unless it's a pressing matter, since I've heard of some things being held back to 2.2, but just because it's a low possibility doesn't mean it won't happen, so that seems fair.

3. Fair enough. I've personally tried a Tails Ultimate run, and my best attempt ended right before the end of ER2. I'm not ready for Ultimate Sonic yet D:

4. I can see what you mean; it's really not a "bad" category by any means, but it's something I wouldn't expect very many people to even attempt, if that. For what it's worth, I don't intend on running that personally. Never been much of an emblem collector in SRB2, really.

I realised I didn't answer why there was an Any% and an Ultimate Mode but the difference really is that one requires a lot more thought and is a challenge of course :) Some things you can't do in Ultimate mode that you can in Any%
