I'm currently watching lots of cartoons of all kinds but especially ones with a good ongoing story. There aren't too many out there as far as I'm aware of. Finished Gravity Falls which is truly exceptional and Star vs The Forces Of Evil, which is a little more silly but also keeps a solid plot.
Are there any others you can recommend? (No anime please lol)

Korra is a good show in its own right, but if you religiously love The Last Airbender and its mythos, character development, writing quality and aesthetic, Korra has many methods of rubbing you up the wrong way.
