@AR007 ey, so its not a bad idea Literaly if I play this game with a keyboard, I just play it with only 1 hand So, well, I would say that not, but sound nice yeah

Just asking because you could map the buttons to make it way more comfortable than a nes controller

I personally don't like the idea of mapping the buttons on a keyboard to make playing 1 Handed easier than with a stock controller. But if the other mods feel it's fine then that's up to them. I just feel it defeats the purpose of the challenge of this category to do that.

@RoyLT But what about when someone plays with arrows and Z and X or D and F? In that case it would've been impossible to beat the game OneHanded without remapping the controls.

Yes (I use d and f) but for other games I use WASD, shift to sprint and space to jump, and that is way more comfortable than playing with one hand on an NES controller.

wasd to move, space to jump, ctrl to run, enter as start button, shift as the pararel buttof to start (doesnt remember that last name) With that, ez, cause you can press the enter button just to start, so not problema on to do with your left hand

We've discussed this topic and have agreed that this category is intended to be done with a NES original or dogbone controller. Being able to remap keys on a keyboard to a more comfortable position defeats the challenge and intent of this category. It's supposed to be very difficult and challenging.

The rules did specifically state "controller" and not "keyboard" but I've added an extra line to make that more clear that you must use an original or dogbone style of NES controller for this category.
