Elgato Game Capture HD and Super Nintendo

Hey guys new here, and was hoping someone could help me out with a question.

i was looking at purchasing a elgato game capture HD so i could stream my snes (heard it was a really good option and the price isnt too steep).

so the question i have is when i set it up and i use the HDMI out will i have to worry about converting the analog signal? Or will the Elgato take care of that and show perfectly fine on a monitor or tv.

Thanks, Andrew

Can't speak for Nintendo, but on my PS2 the Elgato outputs the screen at 4:3 on my TV.

You could use a HDMI Converter between the console and the capture card like i do. It depends on what converter you use, but mine converts it to 16:9 (720p or 1080p) as well, which makes it quite easy to stream and to see on the screen then since the quality is actually quite good.

About the delay cooopercrisp is talking: I seriously had never any troubles with it at all yet with my setup (And I'm using the Elgato HD 60 + the mentioned converter) O.o
