this is one hell of a thread. To respond to what you said specifically, @Gerbungis I am a lazy mod and i admit it, but I don't really stream anymore that much due to personal conflict. @Ivory Mods shouldn’t HAVE to be in the shitty position where everyone is mad at them. If you look at most active players games on SRC, you’ll find that the mods are very active and each easily verify many runs everytime they have a verify session. As a mod myself, I know how hard it is to moderate a game, but that doesn’t mean you can’t fucking verify runs. At the submit page for this game, it says it could take 1-3 weeks to get your run verified. However, it’s just BULLSHIT, that some people wait 3 FUCKING MONTHS, and their run still hasn’t been verified.

Also, as a sidenote, you can make verifiers that don't have normal mod powers. It would be helpful if there was someone that could be added that would consistently verify, even if they were just a verifier.

Okay, I’ll also admit it was wrong to procrastinate verifying runs. I’m sorry all this major inconvenience you all are having. I will verify most of the runs by next week.

@Tolozen with a game that’s had 50 active players for a few months, you can probably expect around 20 runs a day submitted.

we shouldn’t even need to tell the mods about our unverified runs in the first place, really. this could be avoided by just doing your god damn job.

Yes, I agree. Us mods are doing a shitty job, and I can't explain other peoples' reasoning, but I want to explain my own.

Yes, I stream, Yes I go to school, Yes I have a life, but yes, I do have time to verify runs.

But I don't. Why? I'm not used to it. I moderate a game that has 0 active players 90% of the time (ShellShock Live) and it's really hard for me to look at 97 unverified runs, and feel motivated to do something about it.

As I said in a call with Speedrunningiscool (Current Owner) I shouldn't be mod because I don't verify. He said that because of my honesty, I keep my mod.

I do agree, it is ludicrous, and it has been ever since Soulcloset left the community.

But, here I am, addressing points Gerbungis made.

We banned both Gerb, and IcySkid for breaking server rules, not just for telling another player to play romhacks (They were asked to stop several times, mind you) and being toxic towards other players (Breaks Rules Numbered 1 and 4) in multiple occurances.

The latest run is 2 months old, by the way, so the 3 month claim is false. (Even though 2 isn't much better.

You realise being reasonable applies to you too? As mods you should be unbiased, and you should know these things by heart if you want to have this sort of responsibility, me and icy did in fact follow rules, and we were in a vc, we believed we did nothing out of the ordinary, despite you not knowing this but I carefully read rules every time I even go into the server I'm talking in, I even told you "hey buddy, don't even consider banning me" once I believe* Either way after we were banned haxagon called me a retard, this would be considered talking behind my back, the worst form of disrespect, disrespect of course being toxic, and then overworld, and others* going hahaha funny mode dude crab emoji funny, other people going along with the joke you do realise that what you said is dodging the fact that you, the same people blaming me, accusing me for toxicity is a rule in the server? And that you have to respect my views as everyone views things differently?

You two did not follow the rules. It isn't just I who wanted you banned, in fact, the majority of the mod team agreed with it. I had no knowledge that Haxagon called you a "retard" and it's slightly hard to believe that he said it. Please provide proof of such.

Even if you did say that to me, You broke the rules. Because you told me, not to ban you, doesn't get you out of a punishment for any wrong doing.

Furthermore, where is the proof of us doing that? (Crab Rave Thing) I'm not saying that we did, or didn't, but I'd like to see how you can know.

And for you to say that I need to respect your views is not true. If your views Offends another user, even if it's what you believe, can NOT be tolerated, as seen in Rule Number 2. "2.
