I know this is very Very early to talk about this new DLC ''Sonic Mania Plus'' also It probs is subject to change and all, but I'm just wondering here, The new characters that were anounced '' Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel''. Will they be getting their own categories? Personally I'm happy they are just back for one more game since SegaSonic the Hedgehog. But it would interesting to see any kind of speedrun with them. Also The ''Encore Mode'', will that effect anything in the categories or get its own category? I'm saying this since, It is apparently a bunch of remixed zones. Thanks for reading anyway <3

Since not much is known and it’s going to take 3-4 months until the update is live. Probably not much to worry about atm.

Yep, way too early to worry about anything right now. It's fair to assume the new characters will get their own categories but until we have the game in our hands we won't know what changes will need to be made :)
