I’ve taken it upon myself to organize an any% Tournament for this game as the community is extremely active currently. Anyone is allowed to participate - the more the merrier! I am going to attempt to have it hosted on SpeedGaming sometime in the summer. If any of you know how the Celeste tournament worked, I’m going to have it work like that. For those of you that don’t know there is an explanation in #announcement in the discord I have created for this tourney (at the end of this post). I would really like to have this be an annual thing that grows as the years go by. I encourage everyone to join because at the end of the day this is to have fun and to bond as a community. With that kind of behavior I doubt we'll consider you for the next tournament. Also you'll need a verified run with video on Any% to participate on the next tournament iirc (if they've one though).
Next year’s any% tournament will be ran way differently (and better) than this year’s. Sub 30 will be a requirement (either that or a run with a video), there will be much stricter deadlines, only official consoles will be allowed, and i will not allow everyone who submits to participate. Im honestly considering calling this one off because it has takes sooo long.
Nothing is concrete yet for next year’s tourney, so dont quote me on any of this as it may change.
