So, I was thinking about doing low% runs (which to my knowledge haven't been done yet) but was wondering what the lowest % is. I managed to get a 27.34%, but didn't do Hollow King Skip so it could be lower, though I don't intend to do lag% tactics any time soon.

Basically, I want to know (without lag tactics) what the lowest possible % is.

I did figure it out sometime last year what the optimal route was, but I never tried it out to see what the percentage was. I'll give it a go soon.

And yes, try not to use Lag% strats. :P

edit: I'll add it as a category once we confirm the lowest percentage.

I also got 27.34% with the lowest strats, but I feel it can't be lower without lag skip

That I found a tight jump to skip the Cerulean Aura passage? ()

Does this invalidate all the low% runs?

To clarify: Each unique room visited = some % (can't remember precisely how many).

yeah hollow king skip is a strat that is only allowed in lag% at the moment (It's banned in low%). Sigack has a low% run using it here:

I think low% shouldn't have the lag glitch in it, because that pretty much turns the category into lag%, since it is just all about nailing the glitch.

I shouldn't have created that category without using the glitch. Honestly, it's a bad category and I'm sorry to everyone.

I personally think it should be allowed, but the actual % should be noted on each run. Other games do low% as, whoever has the lowest % is 1st. In event of a tie, faster runner is 1st. Realistically, we should do it that way as well, but honestly more input would be nice.

Killing low% isn't a bad idea either, or killing lag%. Low% was a weird category to begin with, because it's just a minor route change from any%, it doesn't absolutely change the game enough to be really taken too seriously. But also killing lag%, and making low% with lag glitch wouldn't be a bad idea either, since they are both minor route changes combined into one. So I think we should kill one of them, either having lag% die with new low% rules, or just killing low%. I'd like to hear some thoughts about whether that's a good idea or not.

Yolo Category Extension

Due to new runs from new runners, a Yolo subcategory has been added to 100%, Extra Spicy any%, and Extra Spicy 100%. Yolo any% will remain as a separate category (as opposed to subcategory) for now since I'm unsure how to merge it without having to copy all runs by hand. Let me know what you think i
