Maiden Voyage Any% will begin as soon as you gain control of your character. It will end when the cutscene at the end of the voyage begins. You can do anything you want in between. Maiden Voyage 100% will begin as soon as you gain control of your character. You must complete all of the commendations listed under "Maiden Voyage" in the tall tale tab, and then finish the voyage. The timer stops when the cutscene at the end of the voyage begins.

Most story-related voyages, like The Shroudbreaker and Maiden Voyage, are split into their different "levels". You can see them all by clicking on "Leaderboards" and looking through the drop-down menu for the tall tale/voyage you want to do.
