I'm just wondering how you people go about recording things on iOS and Android, as I was thinking about running a few games for these.

@ShikenNuggets

I'm sure the OP meant a screen recorder, not an on-screen timer.

@Jackythejack

Try DU Screen Recorder, it is simple and free. If that doesn't work for you, try Mobizen.

The iPhone 8 and up have a built in screen recorder that you can find in the control centre thing, not sure about android

United States

The built-in screen recorder is for all Apple smartphones running iOS 10 and up.

Small fun fact: Android screen recorders can only record external audio (like your microphone) The privacy policy states that screen recorders aren't allowed to record internal audio.

@SpiderHako mentioned good screen recorders, but those are only able to record external sound. (if you don't mind if your voice is in the recording that is)

@Seydie

That is totally not true. I use Mobizen for my recording. You can't hear the game's sound when recording, but the video will include the game's sound when done recording.

I personally use Vysor, since it just doesn't give a damn about android's privacy policy Kappa

Regarding Mobizen, you can only hear the game's audio while recording when you choose to record external sound.
