I still don't get how so many of the runs here don't have a video and some runners used sgb1's as well. I think you shouldn't be allowed to even submit a run without a link.

Video proof is not required for all runs. It is necessary for top times, however. Which runs specifically do you want to see proof for?

"Video proof is not required for all runs." Why is that though? I wouldnt care if you are in 100th place or 1st place, I need legitimate proof of your accomplishment. I also dont get how you guys accept this as normal too. What is the point of you admitting that you did something in a certain speed and not having to prove it? Whatevs, this site can do what it wants, but I'll continue thinking its dumb. pce.

So to pipe into this conversation...

Jump is right, we discussed this at a length and decided that top 3 runs did require a video. But I am one of those people that did want video for all sub 12 times.

To you token

I guess I am a little bit more old school, I like having the original copy of games, so I guess capturing games like that is a bit cheap for me. I am not a huge fan of emulators used for speedruns, but I don't fault people for it. I just don't feel like it is an 'official' speedrun (the same goes for people using SGB1).
