Rules in Maxed Athletics say that: -Timing starts when it zooms in to your lot But both runs submitted in that category start from clicking create a new sim which basically wastes time and that time lose is added to final time. So when should the run start ?

If I'm not mistaken the rules were changed after those runs were submitted. Now the timer should start, as the rules say, when it zooms into your lot. Those runs should be re-timed by the mods though.

Yep as Ale said., The rules state, Timer starts on Lot Zoom in (as per the category).

I might look into rule clarification later and start discussions about a common ruleset. :)
