For the BTT/STC (break the targets/smash the crystals) All characters RTA, when does the timing start? when you choose from the character select screen, when you restart from in the level, or when the GO appears on screen? the last one saves 3 second over the previous, and about 5 over starting from character select, so will make a difference, especially when it gets very optimized... I personally would say the 2nd one, since starting right as GO appears is not consistent and might result in you starting your timer late
Either pressing start on the character select screen, or restarting from the first character. Doesn't really matter. Not on GO, though.
oh ok, thanks, will keep that in mind for the future. Follow up question, what if hypothetically I got WR, but started on like the 1 or 2 of the counting, would I just be sore out of luck?
If your split starts on 1 or 2? It doesn't matter as long as the video starts before hitting start on character select or restart on the first character. It can always be re-timed if the splits aren't accurate.
