I think the old route is the fastest

Canada

I believe the old route is faster, however for newer runners or just for a more consistent run I've found the new route is better. TBH I'm not good enough to make the "offical call" on it.

But if the runs were 100% perfect I believe the old route would be faster as the old route the individuals have a higher chance of hitting a fast server and that speeds up the "lose 2nd round" strat.

But for rmb0257 I'd do the old route as you got the skill to have consistent runs!

PS. for those that care,

I'm unable to do runs for the for see-able future as I've been brought back on at work and don't have the time and access to my Wii (mainly for this reason). I will be back at some point and hope to push my time down further! Until then I'm excited to see what the rest of you can accomplish! I'm happy with my time of 10.36 but fell short of getting a sub 10 (by quite a lot tbh).

I SHALL RETURN....one day

Hi! I was messing around with dropping games this morning, and I found a nice strategy for me. If I give up a lot of points from games 1 through 3, I'll drop the 2nd game in match 5. If I don't give up a lot of points from games 1-3, then I would drop the 2nd game in match 4. This is almost entirely based off of my PB from yesterday where I wasn't doing so good, I dropped the 2nd game in match 5, and got Elisa and Sarah next match. I just got into BtC tennis a while ago so I don't know too much so I just wanted to ask: is this strategy reasonable, and does it change anything or not?

Hey coop519,

That's more or less a strategy you could use but I still think when you start getting into the sub 10.30 times you will have to use the "loss 2nd game in round 5" strat. I've achieved a few sub 11 times but never have achieved a sub 10.40 with the "loss 2nd game in round 4" strat, hence why I think the old route is superior when pushing times that low.

Alright, thanks for the reply!
