#Known Differences Between Floppy and CD Versions

  1. Menus are uglier
  2. In DOSBox, the buffer for your inputs lasts a lot longer, negating holding down enter as a viable strategy. This lengthy input buffer doesn't exist in ScummVM.
  3. Alex walks up the cliffs faster.
  4. After Alex maps to a new island, the animation of Alex putting away the map plays fully. In the CD version, this animation is skipped.
  5. Escape will not dismiss the inventory.
  6. Floppy has no voice acting.
  7. In the CD version, after spying on the guard dogs in the castle through the peephole, you have to wait about 10 seconds or so. This wait is eliminated in the floppy version.

#Cliff Glitch

There is a delay before the text box comes up when you hold enter after doing the cliff puzzles. The cursor is still on the screen and can be switched to walk. You can walk down one step and then up the steps as they are coming out of the wall.

Jaki wants this to be called the "Ibex climb." Whether this catches on remains to be seen.
