So I feel like I've reached out to everyone possible about speed running this game. Looks like I'm on my own. I've been working on routing out 100% runs for Dreamcast and PC versions, soon PS2 will follow. Hopefully I'll be able to post videos in the next week or so. If anyone would like to join me or has any help/questions/suggestions, post them here.

I left a comment on one of your YouTube vids, but I wasn't sure you'd see it. Thanks for responding though! I ordered a copy on PS2. It'll be here in a week or so.

I do have some questions, though. I'm kinda new to this whole speed running thing, but I've noticed some major differences in the Dreamcast version of this game compared to all the others. Most notably a difficulty spike, limited ammo, and higher baby requirements for boss rooms. What would be required to have the Dreamcast version listed as its own separate speed run? I figure that it's pretty much just you and me being the only ones running this game. So does that mean we get to decide what the categories are? Also, I've been practicing with the iOS version at work in my down time. Can that be added to the list of versions as well?

Well, Idk. Personally I don't like cluttering things up if I don't need to, and I only had/have the PS2 version, but I could add the others. Although, personally, I'd just like to keep them all together and just run whatever the fastest one ends up being.

That's what I figured. The Dreamcast version may end up being the best for 100% just because it starts you at Undermill. The PS2 versions seems to have different token placement. I'll know more once I get my copy in. I've been averaging 20 min runs for World Quack Centre and Lower East Quack. Working on Quackenheim Museum. Can I edit guides once they've been posted? Or can I email them to you if not?

(Edit) NVM about the guides. Answered my own question. Posted what I have so far. I ordered a VGA cable for my Dreamcast that should be in tomorrow. My day off is Tuesday, I plan on spending all day recording and uploading the runs I have.

Okay, MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH! Are you aware of the FPS problems on the PC version? The treadmill in World Quack Centre running too fast on modern PCs? I found a way to fix it! If you have Windows 10, run the game with the Xbox program in the background, use the Game DVR program in the Xbox app. Press windows key + G to activate the game recording, it takes some messing with to get it to operate correctly, but once done, you can use windows key + alt + R to record game play. Using that to record, also have Fraps running in the background with the frame limiter for 30 fps and the game will stay at 30fps, allowing you to pass those parts correctly! This is amazing! I've only been messing with the Dreamcast version because of these problems on PC. WILL BE RECORDING AND UPLOADING RUNS TONIGHT!

Have only played PS2 so wasn't aware lol. Either way, looking forward to the runs!

Just recorded and submitted my first run for World Quack Centre. Unfortunately, I discovered that while I am able to slow the fps down to 30 for the treadmill and object pushing segments, if I don't run it at 30 fps for the WHOLE run, the in game timer runs twice as fast... So I'm going to give it another go. As far as the run time, the video from start to finish is 20 min. I was aiming for under 20, but I goofed on a couple areas. If it counts, awesome. If not, oh well. Let me know what you think though!

I'll go ahead and verify it with the submitted time, but if you can just limit for the entirety of the runs in the future, I'd prefer to keep in game time the standard for IL runs.

Yeah, I figured that'd be the case. Thanks though! I'm going to give it another shot real quick before I turn in for the night.

Fixed AND BEATEN! Got a solid 30 fps all the way through. In game time matches, too! 19:46! Uploading now.

I think I messed up when I submitted. Can it be edited on your end or do I need to resubmit? Picked 100% for the whole game, not WQC. My bad.

Thanks. Hopefully I should have Lower East Quack and Quackenheim up tonight. Maybe even a couple any % runs. I can't for the life of me get Undermill at a decent time. That Bungalow jump behind the climbing wall is stupid hard to pull off in one go!

Just uploaded an amazing run on Lower East Quack. I can definitely shave more time off it, but I'm very pleased with the route!

Damn. Just noticed that the PC version has the same baby requirements as Dreamcast. If you have a moment, can you find out what the requirements for Saving Gwynth are on Viggo's Revenge / PS2 are? Won't have my copy till Saturday, but if it isn't 10; that's definitely going to change the layout of an any% run. As crazy as it sounds, an iOS run might be the best.

I don't have any of my consoles set up at the moment since I just got back from AGDQ, and I've been sick for the past few days. I can try to test that out later in the week though.

Wow. That's exactly what got me into running this game. Were you just attending or were you running a game?

That opens up so many more questions for me (sorry?) is there a DM option on this site?
