I've recently gotten hooked on the Roblox game 3-2-1 Blast Off Simulator and was considering requesting that it be added to speedrun.com. I saw the note about simulators getting rejected almost automatically so I probably won't bother with my request but thought I'd ask for feedback here before I totally let this idea go.
Most gamers that I see playing this game spend almost all their time grinding for fuel (which is super boring!) but if you have a good strategy, there's only one mandatory fuel grind of maybe 30 minutes or so. You can actually avoid even that one grind if you're able to find another gamer in your server who can take you up to the top island in their rocket (but I'd prefer not allowing that strat if this game were accepted).
In terms of criteria for "beating" the game, I'd suggest that it be getting to the maximum rank which involves ranking up (rebirthing) 13 times. I'd also suggest that "beating" the game require the gamer to collect the maximum number of gems possible (19,700) which would mean beating all of the minigames.
I recorded a strategy guide and posted it on youtube so have a look at some of the videos in the playlist linked below to get a sense of what the gameplay looks like and to see my strategy for "beating" this game efficiently.
Any opinions on this? Does it have any chance of being accepted on speedrun.com?
