Hi, I've been trying to do a speed run on atelier Shallie but I have a few questions as to timing. The page says that the time starts at character selection and ends at credit rolls but there is a run already on this website that is timed from start of the game (even before it loads) to after credit roll. This is making me confused as to how to time a possible speed run on this game.

One more thing, I downloaded the extra map for this game but I don't plan to use it. Should I still list the download content?

When it comes to things like this it's always better to ask on the game's forums, which can be found down the left side of the game's leaderboard page.

The run on the site is done by the mod of the game, so it may be that they just forgot their own rules.

Issues like that with run timing happen sometimes. Half the runs on http://www.speedrun.com/infamoussecondson use the timing method listed in the rules, half don't. I've informed the mods but ¯_(ツ)_/¯
