Any screen recorders with a good balance between performance and frame drops?

Normally, with my good PC, I'd record using OBS. Usually, I record about 60FPS on 4000+Kbps, but that's never going to happen on this laptop. I've been using FCEUX's built in AVI capture feature, but that requires me to use a workaround to get Super Luigi Bros. to work that will not be accepted in the future. If there's any way for this specific feature (which has been working fine!) to be used with Nestopia, let me know :P Other than that, is there any good OBS settings (or any other good recording software) with a good balance between performance and how many frames the video drops? For computer specs: Intel Celeron N3060 4GB of RAM 32GB SSD (if the video files can also be small, that's a bonus!) Intel HD Graphics (pc doesn't wanna tell me any more lol)

i'm honestly expecting troll comments saying "unregistered hypercam 2" and nothing else tbh

Eh, guess I was mistaken. I guess the freeze trick will be permanently accepted for 1-1 Fire Luigi. I'd definitely like a better recording setup for when I start Any% though

do FFsplit, I use that for less lag when i stream using an emulator

you also have to stand the lower quality settings, but it's not too bad. the audio might not be synced with the video, too.

oh wow, ffsplit isn't an official website anymore. I think i still have the installer, but idk

Ok. Found an install website. FFsplit from twitter said the site is down but anyone can download in this website, according to https://twitter.com/FFsplit/status/540112185566195712

heres the install website. Get FFsplit-07026-FFmpeg.exe first, then install FFsplit-07026-Full.exe next https://bitbucket.org/taqattack/ffsplit-public/downloads/

Wow. Somehow, FFsplit doesn't even record my ENTIRE footage. Probably because my PC is just THAT shitty. I'll stick to 1-1 Fire Luigi grinding for now, until I get my better PC up and running again :P

I didnt have recording issues except the audio delay. You should just record you game with a camera, then.
