Well the question is simple, is Blasto playable on any versions of the PS2, also is it banned from being ran on PS2 on the SRC leaderboards?

It is not banned, for some reason it isn't added in the boards, I'll add PS2 and PS3 now. You can definitely play Blasto on all the systems apart from PS4. There are significant differences between PAL and NTSC versions though, NTSC being faster overall but having an extra ;level (PAL had episode 3 removed). Any further questions, feel free to ask me.

Thank you very much, I had intentions of running the game soon, I have unfortunately lost my cables for my PS1, and currently don't have a PS2 (it died) but have been considering buying a new one so I think I very likely might do so.

There is just very little information about the game, (in terms of speedrunning) and the rules so I wasn't too sure about what to do or where to ask it. If you guys have a discord, or some type of platform where you discuss strats/discoveries I would love to join it.

PS2 is your best bet to run this game as it's the fastest, there's a lot of lag and problems on PS1 which can be a nuisance. I'll probably start doing some runs again when I get my new PC so keep an eye out on those for some strats and new glitches. Also lemme know what category you're thinking of doing, and I can give you some advice.

I typically like to run true Any% categories so I was going to start off with that, then depending on how I feel at that point I was going to dive into Warpless.

I will probably just watch the WR and everyone's PB at first for an idea on routing, I will def tune in if you stream some runs though.
