Most indecisive person in need of finding a gamecube game

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to put my foot through the door of speedrunning the last few months but I keep changing my mind last second about what I want to do. I did Luigi's Mansion and just wasn't feeling it and didn't feel dedicated wanting to learn it. I beat TTYD recently thinking I'd have the balls to learn that but I don't have the time to learn a 4 hour + game with the amount of time I stream.

So the reason why I'm here is looking for a game thats perhaps 1-2 hours long that has a pretty good soundtrack since usually thats what I base off of what I want to learn then see the strats to the game. SMS looked dope but those camera angles and strats were a turn off to me.

RPG would be cool to learn or any other nintendo esq game. I'm a pain in my own behind when it comes to these things but I really love the speedrunning community and I have a few friend's who have WR's or even gotten up in the top 5 that I've seen put in the work from all the knowledge after the months/years of practice.

Eternal darkness is about a 2 hour run that is GC exclusive. Also I know people run Pikmin and Viewtiful Joe (about a 30 - 45 min run) is always a fun option.

Scotland

Billy hacher and the giant egg, sonic adventure 2 battle, sonic adventure hmm I guess my options kind of suck x3 I thought of so many cool games but they were to long sadly o-o

West Sussex, England

Rayman 3 is supposedly quite good, then there are some categories to Shadow the Hedgehog that you could try. Super Monkey Ball 2 is another one.

United Kingdom

Battalion Wars has a great soundtrack. I'm running it, and the run is around 2 hours long. (I'm currently working on lowering that, it shouldn't be too tricky) Plus it'd be nice to have someone other than me actively running the game.

Billy Hatcher and the giant egg Sonic games (Heroes, Adventure DX, Adventure 2, Riders etc) MegaMan Network Transmission (kinda hard game if you're not that much into platformers, the music rocks though)

There's definitly other games but that's all i can think of for now.

England

Backing up the Sonic Adventure 2 suggestion, though I can't promise you'll personally enjoy it if you've previously been turned off by bad cameras and difficult strats.

United States

Lost Kingdoms 1 and 2 are short RPG runs.
