GTA Online Mission Rules

Hello everyone who want to run GTA Online missions.

I know that there are no rules right now but i want to change that right now.

RULES:

  1. The Mission have to be played on Difficulty "Hard".
  2. The Video have to show the Lobby to make sure you play on "Hard"-Difficulty
  3. The Mission starts when the Mission start sound appears after the Lobby loading screen.
  4. The Mission ends when you hit the yellow End-Mission-Marker.

That are all the rules i can think off. To all the runs that are verified right now: Don´t worry, they´re still ok. Just please follow the rules on your next run.

If you have a problem with one of these rules, please write it in this thread and we can talk about it.

2 Everything that is needed for the verification should be in the video, so that rule is reasonable.

3 & 4 you mean timing starts?

1 Are there time differences between difficulties? If yes why wouldn't you go for the fastest? Or at least make multiple categories.

At your point 3. @coolertmb El Burro Time is possibly to beat. Well, not on the Xbox because of spawns but on the pc its possible. I already found some little details that saves around 1-2 seconds.

At Point 1: In the end there is no time difference between Easy and Hard. Its just the amount of damage you take from Gunshots. I´m open to vote if the mission should be played on Easy, Normal or Hard. I just find Hard better.

At Point 2: You still have 2 lives even on hard. Its just that you can prove that you play the mission on the right difficulty.

At Point 3: On the Xbox you have a bar that shows you the name of the Mission. If this bar fades out, i start the time. Thats the moment i gain controll. From the videos from the pc i saw that you gain controll after that "Sound", so i think that the timer should start after that sound.

At Point 4: I know what you mean. Like on Trash Talk, there is no end game marker. BUT if you kill the Crew chef you get the Mission Done Screen what is obviously the moment you have to end the timer.

coollertmb and i talked about the rules.

The new rules are:

  1. Timer start on gaining control
  2. Timer stops on screen flash

Difficulty is Runners choice.

What screen flash do you mean though?

In some missions there are two, one for the final cutscene starting and then one for MISSION PASSED to come up (EG: War and Pieces)

In any case, I guess it should be the cutscene one, so I've verifiyed a few runs with that timing, if it turns out we disagree then the times can be changed.

Edit: It's fine I'm an idiot, yes the timer stops on the cutscene flash.
