Why does shaking the pro controller not home in for me

It's quite a small range of where it will home into especially on the vertical axis. Try throwing it a bit closer and doing one big shake instead of many little shakes.

I only know that, in general, for the shakes, I think are better the Joy-Cons, to start because you cant midair (when you are in the air) downthrow cappy with a Pro-Con

In all case, I dont know to midair upthrow lul

I understand what ur talking about, how its kinda like cut short. it probably is sometime affected by distance, but for the most part Lgenommen is right it is shaking it too much, so it's better to just shake it once

ok I way over coplicated that. if u are going in a direction that is mor than a 90 degrees from the directin you throw your hat it has a much smaller homing area, or the area that can be homed is toward mario rater than away from him.
