Hi guys I am a new speedrunner and I am not good at speedrunning games currently I am trying to learn Contra III: The alien wars and possibly super mario world, super meat boy, or Guacamelee 2. Does anyone have any other suggestions for games to speedrun that are less than a half an hour, and I mean once learned?
Welcome. I don't have any particular suggestions, but I have ran a random assortment of stuff, plenty which are less than half of an hour, on my profile. You might something of interest.

Ocarina of time has some of the most interesting and fun glitches out there, and is generally fun to play.
Any% can be done in under 30 minutes, even with the old Kakariko Bottle route.
Thanks Kid Gamer! I'll check out OOT any% with the glitches. I played it without glitches way back when. I do own a game cube n64 if you think of any others that run on those.
Welcome to the community! I recommend Zelda Majoras Mask, Ocarina of Time, or DuckTales Remastered. Although I do recommend you try and speed run games you know well and have played before. Good luck on your runs! =D
