Hi everyone,
Is it fine if I just record my run and then upload to YouTube or do I have to stream the whole run live?
Hey,
when i stream on twitch and my run is finished, i create a highlight and submit it. That is much easier and faster.
You can stream it or record it as long as your whole run is shown as well as.the difficulty screen or main menu to the end game screen that shows your igt(In game time)
I would say if you get under 58 minutea then definitely record it as there seems to be no abrupt cuts in the recording which if there was your run would most likely get rejected but if you stream there's a higher chance some footage could get cut out but it really all depends on the platform your playing on like ps4 for example streams have a high chance of having footage cut out which is an issue with ps4 streaming and also it can depend on which streaming service your using
Insomnia87, I don't have a decent streaming set (microphone etc.) to stream a run, and streaming just the game play would be boring I think :) So I will just upload a video to YouTube keeping in mind what CodyLoadee30 said :)
CodyLoadee30, I play on PC, I think ShadowPlay or OBS should handle the recording just fine
Sorry for the bump, but is it going to be a problem, using the Slim PS4's dvr? When set to 60 minutes, the quality is SD and buns (no frame drops or audio problems). My pc is a toaster and I don't have an elgato, so I stream off of the ps4. My run is up on twitch, but it literally cut out the end of G5 and skips right to the result screen...smfh (yea, I'm salty and had no idea that was a thing). I have it up on youtube, and I can submit that, but I wanted to double check, before someone wasted time reviewing it.
