Aside from the inevitable RNG this game has to offer, I am interested in speedrunning various categories of this game and would like to know which difficulty you guys typically prefer to play against and why.
To start, I typically play against Expert Miis because I believe most minigames can be finished more quickly playing against higher-difficulty CPUs (e.g. Derby Dash) and ties are less likely to happen against Expert as opposed to Master in many cases (e.g. Goal Getters).
Advanced. They provide a nice challenge without overwhelming me with Goal Getters crap. (Among other things.)
For 4 Player minigames finish, I usually do Master since you don't have to win and it can be faster this way. This definitely depends on preference mostly, though. If you were going to speedrun 1v3 or 1v1 minigames however, I would use beginner.
