Question about misc. Categories.

How come No Starworld is considered a misc. category even though it's got more runners than most of the main categories. I understand no cape categories, due to not being ran as much as others. Just kinda curious.

Arguments I've heard is that No Starworld, even though it has few restrictions and imo quite a natural restriction, is that it lacks in entertainment value. Like the abundance of fly-over levels.

I don't see it as a lesser category for being in the misc. section though. I just see it as a way to make the leaderboards less cluttered. :)

The main/misc split is purely based on how active categories are. NSW is very rarely ran by many people, and if it got a sudden surge of popularity again, it'd be brought back to main. The real split is between the main leaderboards and the category extension leaderboards

Ok, thanks for the replies, I was a bit confused, but now I understamd.

Maybe there's more of an argument for it now with all the activity from Japanese runners. We'll definitely look into it. It also helps if/when people are running this category in events :)
