@dadinfinitum I made a couple adjustments to the existing page, I kept the existing threads as I think you could just manually edit the posts within them; https://www.speedrun.com/handheld_heroes

@Plywood Hey sorry for the late response, but I took a look at the page and I think this already got sorted? I am unable to view the Audit Log but the schedule looks in order so I assume this has already been taken care of.

We don't need the donation-system, only the webpage. We'll be raising funds for WEISSER RING, but we'll add that into the description by ourselves. Thanks!

Marathon: Night of The Horror Speedruns Venue: Online Stream: https://www.twitch.tv/deluxerus Discord: https://discord.gg/Tja7Z8Y Date: 7 July Mods: @deluxerus , @ToxicTT This is a small (12-18h) online marathon for horror games and games with strong horror/moody atmosphere. We lack experience with hosting marathons, so this marathon is more of a test for us before aiming for something bigger (2 or more days) in that theme/style.

@fGeorjje I edited the last Need for Speedathon to fit the new marathon: https://www.speedrun.com/need_for_speedathon_2019

@deluxerus @Daravae I removed the "Night of The Horror" marathon. Barely over 12 hours does not warrant a marathon page, a marathon should at least be for a full day (that is also not a self-hosting marathon where you would do all the runs).

@Dangerless Before submitting I have read your conversation with warm_ham with the same topic, so I checked ham's twitch and it appears that ham's 1st marathon took only 7h and ham's 2nd marathon has runs submitted for around ~10h marathon, so I assume you ask for a confirmation that we're both not planning to play our games for 12h and yes - we're both not planning to submit more than 1-2h each and other 8h-16h are purely for other runners. 12h is just our guess for how little submissions we can get, since the dates are quite stiff (we are both busy after 7th july for a few months so it's our last chance for this summer and early autumn).

Iowa, USA

@deluxerus I was not aware of that person not doing a 24-hour marathon, I originally thought they were doing a self-hosting marathon where they played the games however like I said I was not aware of the fact that they did not maintain the marathon to be at least a day minimum after their marathon was accepted here.

This is why we are trying to put more care into the acceptance of these marathons, though in terms of your marathon request if the marathon cannot last for a full day we aren't accepting it. We rather not be making the same mistakes again as per the previous request, obviously I'm aware you can't guarantee anything but at the moment I am discussing this with other site staff about how we want to start handling future requests and where users can potentially report marathons not following a small set of guidelines.

As soon as something is agreed upon we'll see what we can do.

In defense of ham's effort, very high requirements (24h) are going to kill a lot of niche marathons, especially if the games in that niche are short in general. It will also force hosts to accept more very long runs just to meet these requirements, so maybe runners count is a more appropriate value. That's my IMHO.
