I don't think we need two non-Any% categories that are almost the same (WP and All Story Moons) with one of them having no runners at all. Instead, I'd prefer a category where you would have to play through the entire story: All story moons in order, getting your hat stolen by Klepto, and traversing the Moon cave.

So "All story events"? I think that could work, not sure if there is a good naming scheme for it or not. Let me get this straight for rule changes:
No skipping events such as obtaining each multi moon in each kingdom, klepto, moon cave, or anything crucial to the story? We still want this to be a speedrun, so I don't think should turn into a no major skips and highly restricted category, but I think it could make a good category. Stuff like Dino jump or other skips that skip 8-bit sections I don't think should count. I think it should just be stuff that trigger cutscenes, or text boxes from cappy. Of course we skip the cutscenes we can, but still have them visible for a second.
To clarify:
No events that'd trigger a cutscene be skipped. (Moon Cave, Skipping Barriers in Snow, Klepto) However, stuff like dino skip or rainy metro jumps, or wooded jump is fine because it doesn't change the story.

I think it's not a very good category that should be replaced with jumpless or something similar but that's just an opinion.
Please don't! I asked for the category to be added for people who want to run WP but dont know how to clip. adding those handicaps would just make it not worth it and not fun imo. if you decide to make "All Story Events" Please make it seperate so we dont turn it into a shit category!

I can see what KingJ is saying. Sure, in speedrunning it is important to learn tricks, but when something that takes time to master like clipping, and may also ruin the experience for some, it should potentially seperate. Honestly, I think both ideas are cool, I think all story missions is good, and I might add all story events one day if there gains interest. I just wanted to clarify in my comment on what you wanted. I'll keep all story missions the same, but if there is other stuff, we'll add rules or seperate categories.
I just don't think that Sand, Metro and Snow alone make enough of a difference to justify its own category, especially when so far the only submissions were old WP runs that didn't even come close to the WR just before clips were discovered. A category this subtly different simply doesn't seem to have enough justification to me.
Instead, expanding it to a "Full Story" category would make this category not only different, but completely unique, in Lost and Moon, and add another few minutes of time difference compared to World Peace. I do agree that story moons and non-moon cutscenes make a good distinction, though I also want to make sure you have to include the entire moon cave in your story rather than just the boss fight.
For WP no clips, I would definitely be fine with a filter on the WP leaderboard, a subcategory tab might also be okay. I just don't want it separate enough to not only gain disproportional attention, but also block the way more popular Full Story idea for being to similar
