What's wrong with the gameplay you have now? I am pretty sure converter are just to convert to different formats, I saw some of your N64 Runs, and I see nothing wrong, maybe it's just me.
Please tell me you know that NTSC > PAL when it comes to speedrunning. Please please please.

Anyway about the gameplay: Reminder that a game in PAL is made to run at 50hz, it's not just the signal that's different, it's the whole game most of the time.

The problem with such converters is that will make the game very inaccurate and is very not recommended.

Many PAL versions of games, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World and A Link to the Past to name some, have been made slightly faster in game in an attempt to compensate for the lower framerate. In all these examples, Mario/Link is moving faster in PAL compared to NTSC. If you then have the PAL game run at NTSC speed, you'll have both the increases framerate as well as the faster characters, making it extremely inaccurate and is not (Even though I don't think there are any "official rules" for it) allowed for speedrunning.

NTSC games will run at 50Hz on a PAL N64 even with converter. You need a NTSC console to play at 60 Hz :)
