This seems like too much effort for a 1.5 minute category, and just would be for people who want a free WR because they're too lazy to learn the fast strats. You don't add a category to make WR's easier, you add a category to add more variety, different movement, different goals. If you can't do the fastest softlock do the one in cascade or something.

I do think that a variety in softlocks and crashes to speedrun is interesting enough, non-repetitive enough, and requested enough:

• Gay Baby Jail (e.g. Cap clip)
• No playable character (e.g. Wooded 2p captured/killed Piranha)
• Cutscene softlock (e.g. Cascade warp)
• Crash (e.g. Cascade first moon)
