Hi, I have been watching speed runs for a while and have recently started to try some runs myself. The problem is at the moment I am a student and don't have enough time for longer runs because of classes, studying, etc. I am mostly interested in running Zelda and Pokemon games and was wondering what suggestions people had for a shorter run for a beginner. Maybe Pokemon red/blue or the earlier Zelda games? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Still, i guess Pokémon games could be good, also maybe Zelda ALTTP ?

Pokemon Red was the first game I learned to speedrun. It has its advantages and disadvantages. The glitchless route (about 2 hours and 20 mins for a newbie) isn't very tech heavy which makes it easy to learn but it is pretty RNG heavy and its pretty non-stop.
