Hey all, I'm new to speedrunning and am curious about how to add new games to this site. There are two games that I'm interested in running but have been waiting due to not seeing a page for them.
Is there any way to request new games for this site? Or should I just go ahead and run it on YouTube and see what happens? :) lol
If it's not on the site, have a run of it yourself and make a game request here: https://www.speedrun.com/requestgame
Run it yourself, post it to youtube, then if you click the 'Games' button on the top, and look to the top right, you should see a button for requesting a game. The direct link is http://www.speedrun.com/requestgame . If that doesn't work for you, add an s for https://www.speedrun.com/requestgame because sometimes the site acts funny.
Anyway, the rules have apparently changed (I wasn't around for the previous rules) where in order to submit for a game, you're supposed to submit your own run with it, so you'll need to do that. Then you just wait a week or two for Kirkq to review things and give you mod ship. He'll set up a basic page and then you'll create the rest. You're welcome to get help with things however you want or need.

i just noticed that some games have been added that aren't even out yet? (i.e. Destiny 2) How's this possible if they don't already have a run of it?
