There are also other ways of doing this. For example, most people would prefer to upload a run of theirs onto YouTube, and not specifically twitch. Runs uploaded to YouTube can easily be retimed using one of these three retime tools:

There’s also other ways of retiming runs. The post above specifically described how to retime twitch VODs for instance. You can also find a way of downloading a run video off of somewhere like Vimeo or Twitter or whatever. With that video, it’s possible to retime it in pretty much all existing editing softwares.

This retime tool is usually used for retiming runs that weren’t uploaded to YouTube, or runs that need to have load frames subtracted. This tool requires a direct file upload, which makes it so that run videos not from YouTube can be easily retimed. It also makes it easier to remove load frames from runs. All you do is go to the frame of start of a load, then go to the end frame for said load. somewes will give you how many frames long that load was. Then, you simply put that number into the “load frames” column. Repeat this process until all load frames are subtracted and then you can just go to the start and end frames of the run to get a final run time. Simple as that.
