Even if .000 milliseconds are made visible for a certain category, this change does not carry over to the WR History graph, such that the time for runs that end in .000 will be shown without milliseconds. (Yes, this is super tiny.)

United States

If you have a category named "0%" it will show up as the default in the category drop-down when you try to edit a run, instead of the category that run was actually submitted as. Pretty annoying if all you're trying to do is make a quick fix like changing the milliseconds from "091" to "910" (because people still submit ms as "91" when they mean "910" since the old site layout used to automatically put the extra 0 at the end rather than the start).

@Californ1a Interesting bug. When you name a category "0%" (or just "0"), the value for that option in the categories list is 0, which is also usually the default value in drop-down lists, in terms of programming. There is a code somewhere that automatically chooses this value, because both the "0%" category and the real category are selected when you edit the run. You can bypass this bug by naming the category "zero%" or something like that.

We cleaned up cookie clicker leaderboard adding category extensions, and now categories fits in 1 row but...

Shouldn't they fit in a row automatically without this gap? maybe it's because we removed a category?

Some of my submitted runs don't actually seem to go through. I hit the submit button, everything seems normal, but the mods don't see it and it doesn't end up in my pending runs list. This has happened to me multiple times in the last couple of months.

Wow, first time I know that subcategories can also be defined as Misc.

When trying to log in, the login form asks for a PIN that I should receive by email, but I did not receive the email in several attempts. Someone else on Discord mentioned having the same issue.

Since I run my own mail server, I was able to check the server logs, and it looks like your email provider is listed on a Spamhaus block list, which probably leads to emails being rejected by many mail servers. After disabling the blocking rule and retrying, I immediately received the PIN email.

This is what I see in my logs, if you want to take it up with Spamhaus: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from o1.3nn.shared.sendgrid.net[167.89.100.129]: 554 5.7.1 Service unavailable; Client host [167.89.100.129] blocked using sbl.spamhaus.org; https://www.spamhaus.org/sbl/query/SBL495453

Looking at the listed URL, it seems that the provider is blocked because of a newsletter unrelated to speedrun.com.

Run appears in my profile but not on the leaderboard. Maybe because the run is from before the game was submitted? Still weird. https://www.speedrun.com/fates_of_ort

@DonDoli Uncheck the default variable 'hero' and your run should appear on the leaderboard. As of now, the 'Normal' runs are hidden by default and can be shown by using the filters.

@Seydie I see, thanks. Confusing because when you go into the Filters, it looks like 'Any' is selected by default (highlighted in blue for me), but indeed clicking on it anyway does show the run.

@DonDoli The highlighted "Any" is a known bug.

When you create a non-subcategory variable the runs with an edited value do not show up until you manually click on show all for that variable.

@Bob-chicken does that variable have a default value? If so, you describe the same issue as DonDoli, and what I reported a while ago: Leaderboards are filtered by default with the default variable value, but the filter still highlight the "Any" option.

I'm on this game page https://www.speedrun.com/dmc4se and clicking at any of the tabs the game has: guides, forum, statistics...

I get a red screen displaying

"The site ahead contains harmful programs Attackers on www.speedrun.com might attempt to trick you into installing programs that harm your browsing experience (for example, by changing your homepage or showing extra ads on sites you visit). Learn more

Help improve security on the web for everyone by sending URLs of some pages you visit, limited system information, and some page content to Google. Privacy policy".

Not getting the same message for any other game so far, dunno what makes this one so special..

@xenkaroshi I checked the tabs on that game and I get the exact same red screen with the same warnings as you described. I'm using Firefox on Windows 10, so it might be something other than browser related?

I have not seen this on any other page here either.

For me, Google Chrome and FireFox on Windows 10 gave that warning screen, Microsoft Edge and Pale Moon did not.

Hi,

@xenkaroshi

The reason of that popping out is due to DMC4's super trainer exe file. It's a memory editing program, so naturally it makes anti-viruses freak out. This file is available in the resource so runners can do Boss Rush runs or practice specific mission rooms/skips/bosses.

It seems that Chrome and Firefox are able to detect that as well. Therefore, affecting everyone from accessing the guide or the run itself.

I just deleted it from resource and this time we are going to make external link for it rather than direct download.

If you still get the same screen on Chrome for instance click details and select visit this site. Other than that, it's Google Safebrowsing makes it go wild.

If someone can tell me how to reach into google for this removing the warning I'd appreciate it a lot.
