@horridhenry257
Moderator inactivity doesn't apply until around 3 weeks, depending on other circumstances, and it is expected that you try to contact them (exceptions may be made if they have been offline ~3+ months.)
And plus he has 4 social media profiles linked, contact him.

Hey, I would like to be the mod of WWE 2k18. The current mod hasn't really done anything, and I have some ideas.
Please keep in mind that using this thread is a last resort, in case the current moderators are not responding or refusing your help without justification. You should always start by asking the Super mods of a game/series as they are also able to add mods. Best way to contact game mods is probably through Twitter for now. Also try the game forums, many users get notifications when threads are created for games they follow.

An admin or full mod will respond to your post when they review it; if there is no response, it hasn't been reviewed yet.
are people just trolling at this point? the amount of requests that need the same response the last few days is staggering

@Otonyshi The mod is active...

@SpiderSponge I've noticed that, so I can only assume that he's neglecting to check his notifications on both twitter and SR.com, or ignoring me. I've removed my post and will try contacting him again. I'd hardly call 6 weeks of not even acknowledging a request being active, especially when you're the only mod.

@Otonyshi Is the Moderator inactive? nope Are there any runs pending that would require another mod? nope In the end, it's his choice if he wants to open a thread called "mod request" when there's no reason to put another mod in place. try going at 'im w/ just your category request instead of directly asking for higher permissions, chances are he went through the same train of thoughts and dismissed the thread by its title.

if going at it w/ just the category thing fails, you can then try asking a full mod and see if they can reach out to him, a person of authority like @ROMaster2 and @Gyoo is less often ignored.

@European_Union I apologize if I've wasted anyone's time, but I was fairly certain after reading the first post of this thread that my request was appropriate. If I continue to be ignored I'll make your suggested request, as ignoring the only other runner of a game as the game's only mod doesn't seem like good practice to me.

I'm just saying this thread is a last resort - it wasn't my intention to come off as "dismissive" of your issue. and as I've said, requesting to be added as a moderator as your first thing in your thread 6 weeks ago might've been the reason in him/her not making a move. I'm also not trying to excuse his/her behaviour, I'm just trying to show a possible train of thought the moderator might've had. and heck, s/he might've just turned off notifications on src because the last run was 2 years ago.

@European_Union Yeah I understand. To be fair though, he hasn't done a run in 2 years, and I did a lot more than just one run. Would've submitted the game myself if I knew SR.com existed when I did mine. Anyway, I'll quit my whining and actually start running it again.

@Otonyshi What does running a game actively has to do anything with this?

@SpiderSponge Nothing really, I was just responding to European_Union's sidenote.

That awkward moment when the first listed mod for that game was online a minute ago at the time of posting this

One day someone is going to ask for mod on a game they already moderate.

@Cosmeme Submitting someone else's run in the first place was a mistake all by itself.

Firstly, you aren't an active member of the community. In fact, you are a person who is quite looked down upon in the community for being quite toxic so I'm not sure you're the best person to tell me what's right and what's wrong. And secondly, I clearly said it was a joke. Everyone involved knew it was a joke. There was a 0% chance that a mod genuinely thought that it was a genuine run because 1. I made the user name jeff backwards (ffeJ) and 2. the video was literally on the guy's YouTube channel. Yeah it was a mistake and I probably wouldn't have done it if I knew how SHiFT would react, but please try to understand the situation before saying something along the lines of that.

This was NOT an attempt to get a fake run past the mods to permanently stay on there. In fact, after the run was approved (AS A JOKE), I deleted it and called the versifier out ASAP.

EDIT: just clarifying that I KNOW it was wrong in the long run, but it wasn't meant to be taken that way. That is all.
