SNES Classic Vs SNES

I want to stop speedrunning on an emulator on my computer, because I plainly just don't like it.

I would get a SNES, but they are quite unreliable just because they are old, if it breaks in some way I will have to get a new one (most likely). However they are quite expensive and I seriously have no idea what output they use (i.e. the NES Classic used a modern day HDMI, no clue what an old NES/SNES would use).

The NES Classic has so much input delay it is unreal, but is the SNES Classic any different? I have heard the Wii Virtual Console has some input delay, but not enough for good times to be unachievable.

is the SNES Classic the same thing?

SNES classic would probably have some sort of input lag depending on what TV you have. However, it is probably going to play better than PC emulator.

I was thinking of hooking it up to my Monitor, and playing like that, hopefully I can get someway to record it, but I might have to just record the screen, idk, anyways I'm going to get the SNES Classic and see how it is.
