Greetings, All
Tennessee, USA

I've been a (mostly lurking) fan of speedrunning and racing for many years. I've not really considered running myself, until quite recently. I'm severely visually-impaired (well past the “legally blind” threshold), and that brings with it a number of obvious complications. Nonetheless, I'm determined to at least feel around the edges of what's possible.

My interests lay almost entirely with older games. I grew up on the NES and SNES, and that's where my heart lingers. While I've not decided on a game to start learning, it will almost certainly be in that area.

I appreciate the wealth of shared knowledge and enthusiasm here. I hope to become more a part of things.

Ad astra per aspera.

Good luck man! I'm relatively new to the speed running genre myself. :)

Super Mario World is a must. Doing IL's first is a great way to learn about the game. Message me on Speedrun.com to talk more about it, if you are interested. I will reply when I can.
