Hello, I started to run Splinter Cell on the GC since a good time and I would like to stream it but im a noob in term of computer and capture card so I need a bit of help.
What would be the recommended PC spec for streaming GameCube gameplay? (My actual PC being extremely bad) What capture card would you recommended me for streaming GameCube? I saw the spaghetti setup of other people and I was scared so I would like to get something that is simple to use if possible.
I'll start by saying I've never streamed off a GC but I think I have a basic idea. I know a couple streamers that use a Dazzle capture card for GC/N64. This I think would be an input for a broadcast software (OBS or Xsplit ect.). This would require a splitter to display on TV and go to PC. As for computer specs twitch has a minimum guideline of an intel i-5, 8 GB ram, and Windows 7. I would recommend you check out the support pages on Twitch (I'm assuming you'd stream with them) as people there actually stream GC. Here's a link: http://help.twitch.tv/. Good Luck!
